1) Overview
We want you to be confident in your purchases. This policy explains when refunds are available for theme purchases and how cancellations work for services.
2) Theme Purchases (Digital Goods)
- Refund Window: within 7 days of purchase if the theme has not been downloaded or activated in your account.
- Non-refundable: once a theme is downloaded/activated, or if substantial assets/code have been accessed.
- Defects: if a verified technical issue prevents normal use and we cannot resolve it within a reasonable time, we will refund or exchange at your choice.
- Compatibility: please review requirements before purchase; incompatibility with unsupported stacks/environments is not a defect.
3) Services (Projects, Support, Consulting)
- Deposits & Milestones: deposits are generally non-refundable once work has begun. Completed milestone fees are non-refundable.
- Cancellation: you may cancel ongoing work with written notice. We will invoice for work performed and expenses incurred up to the cancellation date.
- Change of Scope: changes may affect timelines and cost; we’ll seek your approval before proceeding.
4) How to Request a Refund
Email support@smytech1.com from the account email with:
- Order ID / invoice number
- Product/service purchased
- Reason for the request and any relevant screenshots/logs
We typically respond within 2–3 business days.
5) Chargebacks
Please contact us first to resolve any issues. Unfounded chargebacks may result in account suspension and reversal of license rights.
6) Refund Method & Timing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank or payment provider (usually 5–10 business days after approval).
7) Policy Updates
We may update this policy as our products and laws evolve. We’ll indicate the effective date above and notify you if changes are material.
